A founding member of Penn State CVC was Bob Perks.  He was an avid Penn State Basketball fan and supporter of Coaches vs. Cancer who remained active with the organization until his own battle with cancer prevented him from doing so.  Bob lost his battle with malignant melanoma in 2005 and shortly after his wife Doreen formed the Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund (BPCAF).  This organization provides local individuals and families with assistance while going through the treatment process and is funded through money raised from CVC events along with a foundation set up in Bob's name.  For more information on BPCAF, please visit their website @ www.bpcaf.org.
