Penn State Coaches vs. Cancer put the brat eating prowess of Penn State and Wisconsin fans to the test prior to the Nittany Lion football team's win over the Badgers at Beaver Stadium on October 13, 2007.

The Penn State CVC chapter held a "Battle of the Brats" outside Beaver Stadium in an effort to raise $10,000 to fight cancer and also determine the best brat eating fans between the two schools. Fans lined up at a blue tent for Penn State fans and a red tent for Wisconsin at the Penn State Hoops Club tailgate. Johnsonville Brats donated 2,000 brats and Sheetz, Inc. donated 2,000 drinks for the contest in which fans were asked to make a $5 donation to fight cancer and received a brat and drink to down for their favorite team.

Our Penn State CVC Student group assisted in the staffing of our event, which was held at the Nittany Lion Hoops Club tailgate location (outside of GATE B of Beaver Stadium.
